busy as a bee
whoa! last week was one hectic week. i thought i could've at least get some rest the week after CNY with all that spring cleaning and house-visiting. but i really really enjoyed it! maybe cos last year i didn't get to celebrate CNY with my family. i was busy working at Shang Palace, the chinese restaurant in Shangri-La KL.
[11feb] well anyway, the first day of college after the hols was my restaurant practical class and i was the manager. =) initially, i love being the manager. but after that night, i felt otherwise. partly because i chose the wrong night to wear my new pair of shoes. seriously, i could barely stand before the class was over. painful shit! but still, there's too much running around and not to mention the pressure you face from both the lecturer and your own classmates. in the end, i was just glad that it finished smoothly. btw, a BIG THANK YOU to kehlen, kehlen's sis and of course whitni for coming! ohyah, i woke up at 7am this morning to attend the student council meeting at 8.30am. so sleepy (-.-)
[12feb] house-visitng again! this time i went to all my college friend's house. for what!? to collect angpau of course. ka-ching $$ nothing in the world could make me happier except to have more money! muahaha~! nolah, we went to there to gamble also right. its inevitable. you have to gamble during CNY. its a yearly thing. haha.. everything i say here seems so money-related. so, we went to sam's, janna's, eileen's, terence's, yours truly, yishan's, jasmine's and finally chinling's house. dats like cheras to puchong to subang to kota kemuning and to klang. i left my hse around 8 in the morning and came back just before midnight. another tiring day gone by.
[13feb] class as usual from 9am till 6pm. its like one working day. except that its not, its only college! lecturers as usual warning us that our BIG FINAL DIPLOMA EXAM is just around the corner but as usual everyone couldnt be bothered. *shamefully admits* even me=( ist just after CNY lah! still sleepy (-.-) dats like 2 nights in a row i havent had enough sleep. *cries*
[14feb] happy valentine's day! or single awareness day (S.A.D.) or watever you guys wanna call it. 9am class again today. woke up looking like zombie with horrible-looking eyebags, the one, so big until can takung air already. today is also pai-ti-kong day for the hokkiens'. today is the day where, we hokkiens, pray to the gods of the heavens! and it so happens dat today is also the day where i have to work at san fran steakhouse in damansara intan. thankgoodness, i managed to talk my dad through this, and so he allowed me to go for work. they're paying rm10 per hour k! so i worked from 12noon to 11pm. i earned rm110 in cold hard cash just like that! ahh.. the sweet sweet smell of money XD and wats more. it turned out to be fun. i got stationed at the bar. so u can imagine lah. tee hee... but still tiring, as usual. of course la, when u stand for 12 hrs straight! after that, i drove all the way back to klang to pai-ti-kong. reach home around 2am. *yawns* im so sleep-deprived. again.
[15feb] sorry but i cant remember what i did. lol. seriously, my mind just went blank. ahaha.. but i do remember i went for a hot air balloon ride on sunday and another round of house-visiting on saturday. so im still tired. lethargic more like.
